Many of you will be pleased to know that the shopping cart system on the website has been updated.  This makes it a little easier to order your next class and pay online.  With this change being complete, I may dare to ask for input as to what else you may find helpful on the web site.  If you have specific ideas that would be helpful drop me a note.

Just out of curiosity, have any of you seen an increase in counseling issues since the election?  After having many conversations about this I am interested in anything you may have to share.  My personal belief is that the counseling needs will increase and the economic crisis unfolds and our country goes through these significant changes.

As many of you know from previous articles and conversations, I have been working with Dr. Struble of the National Conservative Christian Church in the development of a new program called Temple Maintenance Counseling.  This program expands the offering of a counseling practice to include weight loss, nutrition and healthy living.  This is also a great outreach program for churches or other ministries that desire to provide practical help to their communities.  With all of the concern over the cost of medical care, prevention has become a huge industry.  As ministers of the Gospel who deal with all three areas of the person, spirit, soul and body this new program is a huge blessing.

This course of study is now complete and being shipped to students who are interested.  The reception of the TMC course of study is very encouraging.  Several counseling centers are already making plans to expand their ministries and bring on a new staff member just for this purpose.  If you have an interest in learning more drop me a note and I will send you the appropriate information.
