I was late today and as you can imagine in a hurry to get out the door. About half way to the office I realized that my phone was at home on the charger. There was no time to return for it so I spent the day without my phone. I know this sounds silly, but I almost felt undressed. It was as if something was missing and I knew it.
On the way back home I had to stop and mail a package. At the post office I realized that the address I needed was, you guessed it, on the phone. I use a pda phone and it has way too much information stored on it. My next thought was funny, “I will call Angie (my wife) and she can give me the address.” Ya, right! How am I going to do that? My phone is there. I gave up and drove home!
Does anyone remember the days when we used a quarter and a pay phone? Just a reminder to be grateful for what we have and not to become too dependant on it!
